June 20th will marked the 17th annual AGSB graduation ceremony since the university’s inception in 1991. This year a record 30 students graduated with many of the graduates attaining their Bachelors Science in Business administration degree. This year’s ceremony took place on a beautiful summer’s day and was followed by a lunch reception at the Hotel Trois Couronnes. We are all extremely proud of all our graduates and we wish you all the best as you pursue your different career paths.

Marketing Statement

The marketing efforts in the last couple of months have been focused on reaching out to the
European and North American markets. This has been coupled by the participation of the university at college conferences in Madrid and New York. In New York, the university’s Programs director represented the university at College Board of New York conference. In Madrid, Spain the university participated at the ECIS conference that aimed at marketing the school on the European arena. Both conferences were a resounding success.
AGSB now offers the unique opportunity of obtaining dual specialized business degrees from the “University of London” while studying in Switzerland. You now have the opportunity to acquire an American and British degree in only three and a half to four years. Through an external system established by the University of london Royal Holloway, students students can follow course material at AGSB followed by a final exam at the University of London Test center in Switzerland. The scheme offers both Bachelors and Masters programs.

Academic Appointments
The new semester brings with it a number of appointments and changes that are meant to bolster the Administration at AGSB.

Firstly we would like to announce the appointment of Mr Amyn Lalani as the Chairman of the steering committee and as the University’s Associate Dean. He will however continue to lead the International Marketing function.

We are pleased to announce that Dr Harpal Dhillon will be joining the American Graduate of Business as the Dean of Academics as of the 1st of September 2009.

We would also like to announce the appointment of Sandy Riley as the Student Registrar and Marketing Assistant. Sandy brings a wealth of experience in academic and customer service and IT. Sandy was born in Canada and has been living in Switzerland for the last 2 years.
